Uxbridge Road, Hanwell

Background:

Located on Uxbridge Road, London, the development included the demolition of an existing garage, and the construction of a 6-storey residential property with basement and seven 3-storey high-spec terraced houses.

Framed Building Construction:

Quorum worked closely with the developers and architectural consultants to co-ordinate the structural and civil engineering elements. The structural scheme was developed following in-depth co-ordination and the preferred primary structure agreed upon. Utilising structural analysis design software packages, the building was modelled in order to develop the structural member sizes and scheme drawings produced using Revit and AutoCAD.

Quorum carried out the civil engineering elements to provide a drainage strategy for the SUDs requirements to efficiently and environmentally drain the surface water from the site, along with providing a suitable surface water diversion scheme.
